Summer Youth Dance Camp

Creative Dance

Activities: With the help of Courtney Bosier, instructor with the Busby Dance Center, students will gain an understanding of dance basics, technique and expand your movement vocabulary. This class is great training for dance team auditions. It will introduce the basics needed to prepare for your dance team auditions.

Art: Exploring Art Styles

The UHV 2012 Summer Soccer Camps

Session 1: June 11-15, at Victoria Football Club Soccer Field.

Session 2: July 23-27, UHV Soccer Field.

When: Campers can attend from 9 a.m. to noon, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. or both morning and afternoon sessions.

Cost: $115 to attend either morning or afternoon sessions, or $165 to attend both.

American Red Cross Babysitting Classes

Program Aid-Volunteer in Training

DRAMA• Stars Of Tomorrow

Activities: This introduction to theater builds performance skills and confidence. Participants explore acting, singing and dancing, while they experience working within a group. In addition to the week's activities, camper are provided with a camp T-shirt and snacks.

Goliad's Annual Summer Flotilla

Cost: Free

Activities: Join the Goliad community in celebrating National Trails Day on June 2, on the Goliad Paddling Trail. The Annual Goliad Summer Flotilla will follow the 6.6-mile Goliad Paddling Trail route from the U.S. Highway 59 bridge, just west of historic downtown Goliad, to Goliad State Park.

A free shuttle service will be provided from 9 to 10:30 a.m. for all registered paddlers. After unloading craft and equipment, paddlers will drive to Goliad State Park to park and catch the shuttle. Participants will need to pay the state park entry fees upon check-in at park headquarters.

When: 8 to 11 a.m. June 26-28; 8 to 11 a.m. July 9-11

Cost: $150 per person

Ages: 8-13 years

Activities: Learn about horses and how to ride. Also play games and do art and crafts, meet new friends, and have lunch everyday.
