9th Annual Sargent Freedom Fest

Traveling Memorial Wall

The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall. Citizens of Wharton County join together to honor all who have bravely served our country and remember the fallen soldiers of the Vietnam War. A Veteran's Hospitality tent for all Veteran's will be set up throughout the event with complimentary water and refreshments. a special ceremony will be held Saturday, July 14 @ 9am. Centennial Art Contest

Texas Historical Marker Dedication at Francitas on Saturday, June 2, 2012

The Mother Zion Missionary Baptist Church
