  • I never said a family lawyer caused a divorce, but I do know that Marr has made at least ONE painful situation a whole lot more painful than it needs to be. And just because HE has been married 40 years and HE is a family man IMO does not mean HE supports the best outcome for families in bad situations. So......based on PERSONAL experience, yeah.....I'll be voting against him, even if it means voting for joe blow off the street and I hope my friends will do the same.

  • I could care less if Cole is claiming to be Republican and votes democrat. Kelly is democrat but from what I've seen he's in marr's pocket. I'll vote against Marr whoever runs. He definately (again, IMO and from what I've seen) anti family. He tears families apart by bending the rules just as he did with his commercial. Funny......he says he MIGHT have voted against Kelly, but has decided to wait until Kelly retires to run. If he supposedly would have ever voted against him, then that says he wouldn't have agreed with him, so why not run against him. I don't truly know Cole, but I know enough about Marr, and yeah.....I'll be voting Cole (or if he
Loses the republican primary, then I'LL vote democrat, so what??!!!).

  • pointing out your opponents voting patterns, where he puts his financial support is not mudslinging it is presenting the facts. Cole is belittling divorce and those who go through it as a trivial matter.

  • Every bit of mud slinging I have seen or heard has come from Chuck Cole. Knowing both of these men professionally, allow me to strongly encourage everyone to vote for Jack Marr. Pro-family is exactly what he is. He's been married to his wife for 40 years. He has the experience and intelligence to interpret the law, and then rule accordingly. Mr. Marr is by far the right choice for District Judge!

  • You would think the grown men would present themselves with more restraint. Mudslinging is totally unnecessary and you would think these professionals would act as such. It's a damn shame Mr. Marr feels as though he had to attack Mr. Cole. Maybe he needs to take my grandmothers advice, "If u can't say something nice then don't say anything at all".

  • I'm personally disappointed in Cole. As someone running for political office, he's not very friendly. I was highly disappointed in him at the CCA banquet recently where he turned his nose up to several people that he, if wins, may have to work along side.

  • I am disappointed in both candidate's. Neither are conducting themselves as a judge. Both boast they will be fair on the bench but are not fair to each other.

  • I would vote for Mr. Cole as a Democrat and I would vote for Mr. Cole as a Republican. Party affiliation isn't as important to me as being a person of character AND being pro-family.

  • Agreed dale...and what makes a tort litigator so much better than a divorce? Sorry Mr. Cole...not voting for a temporary RINO.

    May 26, 2012 at 9:52 a.m.
  • Wow i dont know if i would want someone like Marr making decisions with such a cut throat attitude. You know we as Victorians have the control of who we put in office and although i am sure that alot of people are not going to like this but Marr to me in my opinion is not the one to give so much power.. Scary if you ask me. but i am just one person.. i vote for cole.

  • This is totally unnecessary. We are all neighbors. I'm disappointed of how this is progressing.

  • What is wrong being a Democrat running as a Republican? Don't many Ds misrepresent themselves as Republicans here in Victoria County?

For me, if I wanted to vote for a Democrat in this position, I'd definitely vote for Mr Cole. But I voted in the Republican Primary. Sorry Mr Cole.
