Theatre Victoria has announced its 36th season of plays, musicals and education programs.

By popular demand, Theatre Victoria will perform "Annie," according to a news release from the theater.

The iconic musical is scheduled to run July 20-28 with single tickets going on sale Monday, June 18.

In October, the theater will present "On Golden Pond" by Ernest Thompson. The award-winning play opened on Broadway in 1979. The play is scheduled to run from Oct. 19-27.

The New Year brings the '50's pop musical "The Marvelous Wonderettes," by Roger Bean, running Feb. 15-23.

This show is set in 1958 Springfield High School Prom, where the four main characters have big dreams. The audience will have a chance to watch their lives unfold.

The play uses classic songs from the era, such as "Lollipop" and "Dream Lover."

The comedy, "Caught in the Net," by Ray Cooney, will conclude the season and is scheduled to run April 19-27.

A two-timing cab driver named John Smith has two separate families. The situation gets complicated when two half-siblings meet in a chat room.

In addition to the plays and musicals, Theatre Victoria will host events geared for young people.

The season kicks off with its 8th Annual T3 - Triple Threat Theatre Summer Camp in two sessions.

The Headliners session, for children ages 9 and older, will be Monday through Friday and The Stars of Tomorrow session for children ages 4-8 will be from June 11-15.

The Headliners will present Disney's "The Jungle Book, Kids" and "Winnie the Pooh, Kids," on Saturday.

General admission ticket price is $7.

Fall acting classes for the Youth Academy will be held in a 10-week session starting in September. The spring academy, also a 10-week session, will start in early 2013.

Theatre Victoria's board of governors, staff and volunteers are planning some new, enhanced and returning special events for October, December and January.

The season and flex pass subscriptions are now on sale. All of the performances and education programs will continue to be held at the Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts.
