COPPER GLEAMS: Copper rose after new reports showed manufacturing expanded last month in the U.S. and China, the world's two largest economies. ENERGY MIX: Oil and wholesale gasoline prices rose as power outages hampered work to restore normal operations at refineries, storage tanks and supply terminals in the Northeast. Oil imports also were limited, adding to supply problems.
