Football team's offensive line deserves praise

Little is said of the football offensive line, while all of the credit is given to the quarterback, receivers and running backs. They block on pass and running plays, doing their assignments as they are taught in weekly practices. Without them doing what they are supposed to be doing, the play either does not work or the play is executed for good yardage. At the end of the night, you will see them limping out of the field house, ice on their knees, shoulders and other parts.
The cameras and interviews have been done with all others and they are some of the last to leave. As a father, I can hear him say, "I gave it all tonight and we have film review tomorrow morning, take us home." A smile is on his face as we turn to go home in the dark, and I feel good knowing he is well and looking forward to next week's Friday game.
