If you want to get in the mood for some football before the game starts Sunday, head over to the Golden Gecko to check out "America's Parking Lot," a documentary that is as much about tailgating as it is about the love some hold for the Dallas Cowboys.
The film is being shown before a viewing of the Dallas Cowboys game, an event slated to run from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
The film is the story of Cy and Tiger, two diehard fans of "America's Team" and members of the famed Gate 6 tailgate party as they spent their last season at Texas Stadium. The Cowboys' move to their new stadium in Arlington threatens to dissolve these bonds and traditions built by the men and their friends. The film chronicles the struggles of Cy and Tiger as they work to keep alive traditions that have been 20 years in the making, according to the release.
The film premiered earlier this year at South by Southwest in Austin.
The event is being organized by Anthony Pedone, the organizer of the Victoria Film Festival. Tickets are $5 at the door.
