Edna man injured in two-truck wreck (video)

Clinton Sbrusch, 20, was transported to Citizens Medical Center on Saturday after his Dodge Ram pickup struck the back of an 18-wheeler on Farm-to-Market Road 616 between Placedo and Lolita. The GulfMark Energy Inc. tanker, driven by Gilbert Garcia, 47, slowed to turn into a private drive while traveling east on the farm road and was hit in the back by the Dodge Ram. Garcia was not injured, Department of Public Safety Trooper Wayne Cipriani said.

A 20-year-old Edna man was injured when his truck crashed into an 18-wheeler on East Farm-to-Market Road 616 on Saturday afternoon.

Clinton Wade Sbrusch was driving a gray Dodge Ram 1500 pickup near Placedo when he struck the back of an 18-wheeler, said Department of Safety Trooper Wayne Cipriani.

The 18-wheeler was turning into a private business driveway. The driver, Gilbert Garcia, 47, city of residence not available, was not injured, the trooper said.

Sbrusch was transported to Citizens Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition Saturday night.
