SAN MARCOS, Calif. - Despite a flurry of goals to tie the game in the final minutes Friday, the UHV men's soccer team fell in the Association of Independent Institutions soccer tournament to Jamestown College 5-4 in penalty kicks after tying 3-3.

Stiven Ospina scored at 88:58 on assists from Christian Turman and Juan Ibarra, then Ibarra came back at 89:40 at Juan Ibarra with an assist from Hector Ramirez.

This offset two goals by the Jimmies in the previous few minutes.

The Jaguars also got a goal earlier in the game from Truman on a header off a kick from the left corner.

WOMEN: CSUSM 2, UHV 0

Cal State San Marcos limited the Jaguars to just two shots on goal while gathering 22 of their own as they beat UHV 2-0 on Friday to eliminate them from contention.
