Erin Carol Goldman and Aaron Anton Frazier, both of Victoria, were married at 2:30 p.m. on November 17, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Victoria. Rev. Msgr. Celestino Say, of Victoria, officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Carolyn and Donald Goldman, of Victoria. She is the granddaughter of Loretta Hobbs and the late James Hobbs, of Victoria, and the late Ann and Merlyn Goldman, of Victoria.
The groom is the son of Gwendolyn and Michael Frazier, of Portland. He is the grandson of Gwen Anlauf and the late Robert Anlauf, of Kenedy, and Ruby Frazier and the late Glynn Frazier, of Jourdanton.
Ann Goldman, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor and Misty Boyd attended as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Sarah Strnadel, Laci Harris, Lauren Bryant, Brooke Goldman, sister-in-law of the bride, and Brianna Hanselman. Honorary bridesmaid was Leah Brar, sister of the groom. Leighton Goldman, neice of the bride, attended as flower girl.
Chris Bird and Matthew Bollinger served as best men. Groomsmen, who also served as ushers, were Sam Brar, brother-in-law of the groom, Andrew Russo, Colby Havel, Jean Pierre Alfred, and J. Lyn Goldman, brother of the bride.
Joseph Nevlud was the Eucharistic Minister. Melissa Doggett was the scripture reader. Abbie Risteen and Tim Frazier served as gift bearers. Wedding music was provided by Carl Kirst, organist, and Victoria Peterson, soloist.
On the eve the wedding, the parents of the groom hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Pump House. A reception was held following the ceremony at the Club at Colony Creek, and the dinner music was provided by pianist, Lydia Chapman.
The couple will be taking a Western Caribbean Cruise, making port at Jamaica, Grand Cayman Islands and Cozumel. The bride and groom will reside in Victoria.
Erin is a graduate of Memorial High School and a graduate of The Victoria College with an Associate of Science Degree and an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Teaching. She is presently employed by Victoria Independent School District as a Para-professional, working with special needs preschool students at Deleon Elementary.
The groom is a graduate of Memorial High School, a graduate of Texas State University in San Marcos with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice, and a graduate of the Texas Department of Public Safety Law Enforcement Academy in Austin. He also served four years active duty as a Security Force Specialist in the United States Air Force. He is currently employed as a State Trooper with the Texas Highway Patrol.
