STJ students to dance in 'The Nutcracker'

• WHAT: "The Nutcracker" opening night

• WHEN: 8-10 p.m. Dec. 6

• WHERE: The Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts, 214 N. Main St.

• COST: $20-$30

Auditions are over, and the cast has been chosen.

Four St. Joseph High School students are part of the cast of the Victoria Ballet Theatre's "The Nutcracker."

The St. Joseph High School students are Sarah Dodson, Kellie Gray, Katie Krueger and Ainsley Tharp.

The young ballerinas will dance in major roles, including the main character of Clara and the well-known Sugar Plum Fairy.

Performances start Dec. 6 and end Dec. 9.
