A Port Lavaca woman escaped serious injury Thursday morning in a one-vehicle rollover on U.S. Highway 87 South.

Adrian Renee Davenport, 42, was treated and released at Citizens Medical Center after the crash, a hospital spokesperson said.

Davenport was driving south on the highway about 6:45 a.m. when her 2000 Ford Explorer left the roadway. She took evasive action to return to the road, said Trooper Gerald Bryant, Department of Public Safety spokesman.

Victoria Fire Department Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and took Davenport by ambulance to the hospital.

Davenport was wearing a seat belt. No citations were issued, according to the DPS report.

Trooper Thomas Arriaga investigated the wreck.
