Thumbs-down on the price of fuel being so much higher than when Bush was in office. Bush was blamed for the high cost of fuel when in office because it was making him rich. Is Obama trying to make Bush even more rich now with the higher price of fuel?

Thumbs-up and well done to Harlan Bryant for his amazing accomplishments despite a childhood injury that left him mentally disabled. His success is an inspiration for all of us.
Thumbs-up to the annual Blessing of the Animals. What a cute and loving way for students to celebrate their faith.
Thumbs-up to the Museum of the Coastal Bend for reprising Harold Nichols' "A Texas State of Mind" during Bootfest. This is a wonderful exhibit that features and celebrates the great tradition of ranching.
Thumbs-up to the 100th anniversary of the Turkey Trot in Cuero. We look forward to this year's Turkeyfest, especially with Ruby Begonia ahead in the first leg of the Great Gobbler Gallup and all the special events planned for this historic year.
Thumbs-up to Evelyn Bonnet, who survived multiple battles with cancer, and to all the other people in the Crossroads who have survived their own battles. We honor you for your courage and will to keep pushing forward.
Thumbs-up to all the community businesses, volunteers and groups that are helping to make Bootfest a success. Thank you for all your help.
Thumbs-up to all the neighborhoods who participated in National Night Out. We are excited to see so many community members making the commitment to keep their homes and neighborhoods safe.
