Rose Meza Harrison is right candidate for office

Editor, the Advocate:

Rose Meza Harrison is a Democrat seeking election to Congress in District 27. She is dedicated to our schools and understands that our children are the future and must be adequately prepared for the job market. She promises to support the following educational policies if elected:

Early childhood educational program; focuses in math, science, engineering and technology; higher educational opportunities in District 27; ensure that teachers and educators get the resources they need.

Harrison is also dedicated to women's and family rights. As a professional, mother and grandmother, she understands the challenges women and families face daily. As District 27 Congressional Representative, she will fight for the following:

Women's and families' rights to make their own personal and medical decisions; reauthorize and strengthen the Violence Against Women Act; support legislation that prevents insurance companies from discriminating based on gender; support programs that allow women access to maternity screenings, mammograms and well-woman visits.

Remember that a vote for Rose Meza Harrison on Nov. 6 will be a vote for all residents of District 27.
