More than 10,000 have voted early

With three days left to vote early, more than 10,000 people have voted early in the Nov. 6 general election.
On Tuesday, 1,026 people voted in person bringing the total for Victoria County to 10,037 so far, according to a news release from the Victoria County Election Administrator's office.
Early voting ends Friday.
Election day is Tuesday.
Of the 2,613 ballots mailed, 2,250 have been returned, including 27 on Tuesday.
So far, 24.6 percent of Victoria County's 51,492 registered voters have cast a ballot.
Early voting in person continues at the main early voting location, 111 N. Glass St., Dr Pattie Dodson Public Health Department and the Victoria Mall - Inspiring Scents from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday, and from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
The Bloomington Fire Station will be open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday, and 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
Early voting by mail deadline has passed. All ballots mailed to voters must be returned no later than 7 p.m. Tuesday by mail, by common carrier or contract carrier.
