Ms. Margaret Rogers of Victoria and Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie B. Rogers, Jr. of Briggs happily announce the marriage of their daughter, Jessica Ann of Austin to Edward Brian Gray of Austin, son of Dr. and Mrs. Andy John Gray of Lubbock. The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. B.C. Bolech of Victoria and Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie B. Rogers, Sr. of Austin. The groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Cunliff of St. Louis, Missouri and the late Mr. Ted and Addie Gray of Alpine. The couple wed on January 7th, 2012 at Our Lady's Maronite Catholic Church in Austin. Monsignor Donald Sawyer presided over the ceremony. A dinner reception followed at Barr Mansion. Ms. Brooke Brzozowske served as the Maid of Honor and Mrs. Kelly Holman served as the Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Elizabeth Floyd, cousin of the bride, Mrs. Larissa Watkins, Ms. Caty Schexnaider, Ms. Heather Timmis, Ms. Amanda Apolinar, Ms. Carolyn McLaughlin, and Ms. Kaitlyn Cichowski. Mr. John Gray, brother of the groom, and Mr. Joey Gonzales served as Best Men. Mr. Adam Bozeman and Mr. Chad Hallmark served as Groomsmen. Mrs. Elizabeth Bozeman and Mrs. Kate Waters read during the service.
Jessica attended St. Joseph High School, and is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and Texas Tech University School of Law. She was a member of Kappa Delta sorority at the University of Texas. She is currently employed as an attorney with the Environmental Law Division of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality in Austin.
Brian attended Lubbock High School, the University of Texas at Austin and Lubbock Christian University. He was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity at the University of Texas and is a third degree Master Mason with University Masonic Lodge #1190 A.F. & A.M. in Austin. He is currently employed as an independent contractor performing mineral title research for PickleLand LLC of Palestine, TX.
The couple honeymooned at Hamanasi Resort in Belize and currently resides in Austin.
