Cuero library to host program about camels

Pam Eberly and Frank Gonzales  of the Texas Camel Corps will present a program on the history of camels in Texas on Tuesday at the Cuero Public Library.

A program on the history of camels in Texas will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Cuero Public Library, 207 E. Main St.

Texas Camel Corps Volunteers Frank Gonzales, Pam Eberly and Joella Smith will present an overview of the camel's role in Texas history.

J.G. Hunnam with the DeWitt County Historical Commission will provide details about the camel's stop along the Indianola Trail and their trek along Military Road in DeWitt County.
