A man was arrested and charged with human smuggling Monday in Goliad County.
Leonardo Correa III was pulled over on suspicion of speeding on U.S. Highway 59 North near Fannin about 8:20 p.m., Goliad County Sheriff Kirby Brumby said Tuesday.
Three men, who were undocumented immigrants, were also in the vehicle, which was heading to Houston.
Correa is being held at the Goliad County Jail and the three other men were detained and picked up by U.S. Border Patrol officials, Brumby said.
Brumby would not release the age or hometown of Correa, but said he is an American citizen.
