Victoria Fire Department emergency medical personnel responded to two traffic crashes late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.

At about 11 p.m. Tuesday, EMS responded to a two-vehicle crash on Zac Lentz Parkway at Mockingbird Lane.

A car and a pickup were involved. One man was taken to DeTar Hospital Navarro, said VFD Battalion Chief Roger Hempel.

About 5 a.m. Wednesday, ambulances rolled again for a three-vehicle crash on Coletoville Road at U.S. Highway 59 near the Raisin Windmill store, Hempel said.

A Chrysler PT Cruiser and an 18-wheeler collided then a third vehicle struck the PT Cruiser. One man in the PT Cruiser was transported to Citizens Medical Center, Hempel said.

Hempel said none of the injuries in either crash appeared to be life-threatening.
