Case for not re-electing Obama is much stronger

Editor, the Advocate:

According to the Washington Post's Fact Checker blog, Obama's spending rate is in excess of 5 percent, versus the 1.4 percent quoted by an earlier letter, I believe from an article in Wall Street Journal. The spending and stimulus at the end of 2008 was enacted by Obama as part of a Democratic Congress and as the very influential Democratic nominee with a lame duck President Bush. Can't pin that one on Bush.

GM is alive at taxpayers' expense with a sweetheart deal for the union and GM executives. Bankruptcy works for everyone else and would have forced unions to bring their astronomical benefits into line. Ford is prospering just fine with no "Government" Motors-type bailout.

Clean up fraud and inefficiencies in Medicare and Medicaid and then look at expanding health care. The government's track record in these programs shows it has no business controlling more of our health care.

Obama's bowing to Middle East countries has made the region more unstable and the world a more dangerous place.

Obviously, Obama never developed the love, pride and understanding of this great country, as he was raised in Muslim-influenced foreign countries. As his wife said in 2008, "first time I'm proud of my country." Better than Obama, who just shows in his face during speeches in the Middle East that he despises America and what we stand for.

I'm sorry, this presidency is just not getting it done.
