Dr. Daryl and Michelle Bickford, of Victoria, along with Donny and Kyleen Sparks, of Edna, are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kayla Marie Sparks, of Victoria, to Lucas Weston Bieck, of Magnolia, son of Kirk and Pam Bieck, of Midland.

The couple will exchange vows on October 20, 2012 at Trinity Episcopal Church at 5:30 p.m.

Kayla is a 2006 graduate of Memorial High School. She is a May 2011 graduate of Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Math. Kayla is the granddaughter of Billy and Carolyn Sparks, of Ganado, George and Chanthorn Filkins, of Saudi Arabia, and Trish and Thad Mercer of Ganado.

Lucas is a 2006 graduate of Magnolia High School. He is a May 2010 graduate of Texas State University with a Bachelor of Business and Finance and is employed with Baker Hughes in Midland. Lucas is the grandson of Phyllis Bieck, of Huntsville, and the late Bill Bieck.
