Emergency personnel transport Annie Ramos, 65, on a stretcher at the site of a two-car collision at Goodwin Avenue and North Navarro Street in Victoria. Ramos was transported to Citizens Medical Center Wednesday after Veronica Garcia, 26, who was driving the F-150 truck, struck Ramos, who was driving a gold 1999 Grand Marquis.

A Victoria woman was injured in a two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of East Goodwin Avenue and North Navarro Street on Wednesday afternoon.

Veronica Garcia, 26, of Victoria, was making a left turn from a convenience store when her truck hit a 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis, said police officer David Brogger.

Annie Ramos, 65, of Victoria, was driving the Grand Marquis.

Garcia said she did not see Ramos' car before making her turn at the intersection, Brogger said.

Ramos was taken to Citizens Medical Center, where she was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.

The wreck, which occurred around 5 p.m. Wednesday, shut down part of Goodwin Avenue for about an hour.

Garcia was issued a ticket for driving without a license, Brogger said.
