The Holy Family Knights of Columbus No. 9088 had its 25th annual Public Servants Dinner at the Holy Family Activity Center on Tuesday. The dinner was held to honor city, county and state public servants. Approximately 165 public servants along with about 200 Knights of Columbus members and their spouses and guests attended. The Holy Family Knights of Columbus Council prepared a fried chicken and chicken-fried steak dinner for the event.

The guest speaker for the evening was Victoria County Sheriff T. Michael O'Connor. O'Connor defined the word "Stewardship" in his talk. He said that in addition to working a 24-7 schedule to keep criminals in check, public servants leave behind a legacy for future generations.
