A.J. and Margie Hanslik of Victoria announce the engagement of their daughter, Sheri, to Shan Bates, son of Ken and Carolyn Bates of Austin.

The couple will marry at 2:00pm on October 13th at Holy Family Catholic Church in Victoria.

Sheri is a 7th Grade Teacher at Lake Travis Middle School, and Shan is a Superintendent at Jahn Construction, Inc. both in Austin.
