MARCH 2013

March came in like a lion - with a low temperature of 29 for the month on March 6 - and went out like a ... well, like whatever animal is warm and windy. Maybe a warthog. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZIfqUNOgqI)

The last two days of the month produced temperatures in the 80s and wind speeds in the 20s.

The month had its extremes, too, from that low of 29 to a high of 90 on March 18. As has been the trend, the high temperature continued to be well above normal, although the average daily temperature was slightly below the norm.
