DeWitt fugitive captured in Illinois

David Wayne Buck, a fugitive from DeWitt County, was captured Thursday in Madison County, Ill.
Buck, 30, was wanted for revocation of probation on an assault/family violence conviction.
Buck was arrested after a burned and abandoned car in rural Madison County on Wednesday was linked to him, said Maj. Bradley Wells, Madison County chief deputy sheriff.
He was arrested in an Edwardsville, Ill., motel at 1:30 a.m. Thursday.
Buck's criminal history dates to 2002, according to Texas Department of Public Safety records, and includes delivery of marijuana, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone and theft.
He is expected to be extradited to Texas.
