Victoria College welcomed several new staff members for the spring semester. The new employees are: Tonya Ross, administrative assistant for the division of career, health and technical professions; Zozimo Salazar, admissions and records generalist; Thomas L. Smith and David Zempel, groundskeepers; and Grace Carr, part-time printing and mailroom services assistant.

Athena Anderson recently began work as a biology lab lecturer for the University of Houston-Victoria School of Arts and Sciences. She is teaching four undergraduate lab classes this semester.

Elizabeth Cubriel recently was hired as an institutional research analyst for the University of Houston-Victoria Office of the Provost. She helps conduct research for state and national surveys and clearinghouses. Cubriel previously worked as a Title V academic adviser at Victoria College.
