Fire heavily damages Victoria house (Video)

A fire heavily damaged a Victoria home Saturday morning in the 1900 block of East Guadalupe Street.
Battalion Chief Clifton Bayer of the Victoria Fire Department said three people live in the house, but no one was inside the single-story wooden structure when the fire began.
There were no other reported injuries at the scene. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
Victoria Fire Department was dispatched to the location at 7:47 a.m., and firefighters took about 14 minutes to douse the flames, which was burning throughout the structure. The home, which sustained significant fire and smoke damage, was still smoldering as of 9:15 a.m.
Officials with the American Red Cross are helping the victims.
