5th grader wins symphony essay contest

Natalie Marek has won the Victoria Symphony's "Peter and the Wolf" essay contest.  Natalie, a fifth-grade student at DeLeon Elementary School, is pictured with her winning essay poster, which will be on display at the Fine Arts Center during the April 27  Victoria Symphony concert, Symphonie Fantastique.  Her prizes will be presented at the Victoria Symphony's Downtown Rhythms concert Thursday at DeLeon Plaza. Natalie is the daughter of Lance and Lauri Marek, of Victoria.
