Colonial Dames host luncheon

Colonial Dames of the 17th Century, John Brewer Chapter, held a luncheon at Sky Restaurant on April 10 for the installation of officers for the May 2013 through May 2015 term.  A memorial was held for deceased member Lola Sale Bade, whose memory was honored by Margaret Phelps, Carol Strarup and Belva Zirjacks.  Scheduled programs and workshops for the coming term were previewed by the group. Special guest Linda Wolff officiated at the installation ceremony in which the following officers were inducted:  front row, from left, are Jean Shores, president; and Hazel Foltyn, vice-president; back row, from left, are  Marilyn Logan, librarian; Kate Williams, registrar; Carol Strarup, treasurer; and Margaret Phelps, chaplain. Not pictured are Sharron Torrence, secretary; Bettye Pribyl, historian; and Barbara Parsons Smith, parliamentarian and heraldry chairman.
