The organization's board of governors will host its Annual Membership Meeting on Sunday at the Leo J. Welder Center to vote on changes to bylaws and on incoming board members.
Omar Rachid, president of the theater's board of governors, will lead the meeting. Executive Director Scott Mohon will give a "State of the Theatre" address to sum up the season.
"The numbers look good for the season. Our single-ticket sales are up, so we're up on attendance, even though we were short a show," said Mohon. "In the upcoming season, we are planning to include five shows."
Theater patrons who purchased a ticket or registered a student in the Theatre's School of Performing Arts during the 2012-13 season are encouraged to attend as members, but the meeting is open to anyone interested in the theater.
Following the annual meeting, members can enjoy a pot luck dinner in the Welder Center lobby while the board of governors meets to vote on the executive and standing committees for the 2013-14 season.
After dinner, Theatre Victoria will host its 2013 Vicky Awards, a tradition that recognizes the volunteers who help put on Theatre Victoria shows.
"They are the heart and soul of the organization," said Mohon. "If it weren't for the volunteers, we would not have a theater of this caliber."
The tradition is a spoof on the popular Hollywood award shows, he said. Some Vickys include the Tribe Leader, Least Likely to Survive and Hidden Treasures awards.
