Community leaders break ground for VC's Emerging Technology Center

The ceremonial groundbreaking ceremony for Victoria College's Emerging Technology Center was held Tuesday morning in the Lone Tree II Industrial Park. Turning the first shovels of dirt are Victoria College President Tom Butler, VC Board Chairman Ronald Walker, trustees Robby Burdge, Luis Guerra, Josie Rivera,  and V. Bland Proctor; Victoria Mayor Paul Polasek, Charles Labay of Drymalla Construction Company, architect Rawley McCoy, Larry Garrett, Keith Blundell, Patricia Vandervoort,  Florinda Correa, Jennifer Yancey, Betsy Crane and Sherri Pall, all of Victoria College; Victoria County Judge Don Pozzi, Dennis Patillo, of the Victoria Economic Development Corporation; Lewis Neitsch, president of the Victoria Sales Tax Development Corporation; and VC mascot Captain Vic. The ceremonial groundbreaking ceremony for Victoria College's Emerging Technology Center was held Tuesday morning in the Lone Tree II Industrial Park. The facility is expected to be in operation in spring 2015.
