Letter about Zimmerman trial was so true
Editor, the Advocate:
Thank you, Mr. Contraras Jr., for your letter to the editor. It is so true. If Mr. Zimmerman was really trying to uphold the law, why didn't he follow the dispatcher's request? If he wasn't going to take their advice, why did he call? All parents should be concerned because your child is wearing a hoodie. That's the fad with all young people today. Really, the problem was Trayvon was a young, black male with a hoodie.
Zimmerman had called in several times reporting black males. The whole court facade was ridiculous. The state of Florida was only pacifying the Martin family and the protestors. The prosecutors appeared to be incompetent or with little experience. Remember, if the protesters had not gotten involved, it wouldn't have been a trial.
