Edna ISD schools met the Texas Education Agency standards at the elementary, junior high and high school level.
The results were released Thursday to the public.
The pass or fail accountability summary showed the schools met or exceeded the target scores in each category of performance.
Edna Elementary School earned two awards of distinction for academic achievement in mathematics and for being in the top 25 percent of student progress.
"We were pleased and surprised with the scores because no one knew what the state was doing. We met the standards for the district, and we think everyone performed well," Superintendent Bob Wells said.
