Morning Study Club met for brunch

The Morning Study Club met for the annual President's Luncheon during which the 2013-14 officers were installed. The newly elected officers, from left, are Helen Williams, historian; Michael Ann Ruddock, president-elect; Margaret Williams, recording secretary; Virginia Shultz, president; Dottie Mints, treasurer; Dorothy Ryan, press reporter; Mary Gleinser, federation counselor; and Wanda Murray, vice-president. Ann Witte was the installation officer and conducted the ceremony using a unique rainbow-color theme.

Members of the Morning Study Club met recently for a called meeting for a Doughnut Brunch and to discuss and finalize plans for the 2013-14 club year.

President Virginia Shultz greeted members. The collect was led by Dorothy Ryan. Margaret Williams read the minutes of the last meeting and called roll.

An agenda of business was conducted which included presentation of the budget for the 2013-14 club year by Dottie Mints, and an outline of the programs for the year was discussed by Michael Ann Ruddock.

Some of the committees met to complete plans. The next meeting will be Oct. 3 at the Victoria Women's Club House.
