"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."
- Isaiah 41:10
According to the Discovery Channel, this past week has been designated as "National Shark Week."
That is why there has been so many TV shows about sharks. As true to life, all of the sharks were the villains. In animal life, the shark ranks as the highest link in the food chain.
Size has nothing to do with this position for the largest ocean dweller, the whale, only eats plankton, the smallest living creatures of the sea. There is one whale though, that ate one occasional Jonah but spit him out in three days because he could not digest him.
Back to the shark. In my spiritual talk with God one morning, I just stopped and asked God, "If You are all good, why did you make sharks?"
When God told me with the tenderness He would use with all His children, "When anyone of my oceangoing friends sees a shark, he turns his face toward Heaven and says, 'Oh, God,' that makes me the Supreme Being."
God said, "I want my children to feel security and safety and know that when the sharks in life, the ones in the sea and the ones on land, come at them, that I am the God who created this universe and have been directing it all of this time, and I am not through yet."
Dear Lord, thank You for helping me believe that You are God, and I am not. Let me rest safely in Your arms. God, You can tell us the truth now, "Was the shark really the reason Your Son Jesus walked on water?" Lol.
