Had 185 cows and 10 bulls. The packer market was steady with last week levels. Had some high yielding cows that made the market look higher. Some local rain slowed the numbers down a bit.

The calf market continued its strong run-up on prices as all classes were as strong or stronger than last week. some of the better quality calves from 400 pounds on up were $1 to $2 hundredweight higher. Lots of grass and potentially a record breaking corn crop has helped the calf market dramatically.
