St. Joseph alumnus graduates with honors
Denver Hayden Diefenbach graduated from Texas A&M University-Kingsville on Aug. 10, with magna cum laude honors. Diefenbach, a pre-dental student, received a Bachelor of Science degree with majors in biology and biomedical science with a minor in chemistry. A 2009 graduate of St. Joseph High School, he is a member of the Beta Beta Beta National Biological Honor Society as well as a two-time selectee to the national Who's Who Among College Students in America. Diefenbach was also named to the Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll the last three seasons, named to the All-Conference team in 2012, and was a part of the Lone Star Conference Championship baseball team in 2013, a record-breaking year for the university. He served as the vice president of the TAMUK Pre-Dental club for the last two years. Diefenbach will attend TAMUK in 2013-14 to start work on his Master of Science degree and play in his final year of eligibility for baseball. He is the son of Bill and Teresa Diefenbach, of Victoria.
