Thank you to the angel riding a lawnmower

Editor, the Advocate:
Wednesday, several of us from John Wesley United Methodist Church were cleaning a ditch across the back of the church property on Berkman Drive. We were responding to a city directive to bring the area into compliance with city codes governing grass/weed growth on private property.
This ditch is difficult to access with household mowers, so we tackled the job with weed-eaters. When approximately half finished - already hot and tired - a young man (surely an angel) rode up on a commercial-grade, zero-turn mower and without introduction, proceeded to finish the job. After several swift passes up, down and across the ditch, he - again, without pausing - rode off in the direction of Holy Family Catholic Church, where a crew was mowing.
Surely such good deeds should not go unrecognized. Hopefully, the young man will read this or someone will call it to his attention. In any case, we at John Wesley thank him for coming to our assistance. God is good, and there are indeed angels among us - some on riding mowers.
