7 arrested on drug charges

Seven people were arrested Tuesday morning in connection with multiple drug investigations after law enforcement officials served four search warrants.

Victoria County Sheriff's Office deputies served two search warrants in the 900 block of South Navarro Street and two in the 600 block of East Second Street, said interim command Capt. Abel Arriazola.

The search warrants covered both the homes and the vehicles, Arriazola said.

The Victoria Sheriff's SWAT Team; Cuero Police Department; U.S. Marshal Service; Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; and Homeland Security Investigation assisted in the operation.

Arrested at 602 E. Second St.

Tania Williams, 35, of Victoria, on a charge of possession of marijuana in a drug-free zone. She posted a $1,000 bond and was released from jail Tuesday afternoon.

Arrested at 604 E. Second St.

Ray Ford, 24, of Victoria, on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Arrested at 906 S. Navarro St.

Felix Arguellez, 29, of Victoria, on a charge of manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone and possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone.

Alexander Salazar, 37, of Victoria, on a charge of manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone and possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone.

Daniel Padierna, 29, of Victoria, on a charge of manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone and two counts of possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone.

Arrested at 910 S. Navarro St.

Dantrey Polk, 29, of Victoria, on a charge of possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone.

Kenitra Johnson, 34, of Victoria, on a charge of possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone.

These six remained in the county jail Tuesday night.
