Victoria College graduates 20 nurse aide students
Twenty students recently graduated from Victoria College's Nurse Aide Program. Nurse aides perform basic nursing care such as bathing, feeding and grooming under the direction of a nurse.
The students learned hygiene, basic anatomy and physiology, body systems, care of the client in the home and care of clients with special needs.
The nurse aide graduates are Margaret Aranda, Abigail Bazan, Kim Boscarello, Theresa Briseno, Tabatha Burow, Jessica Cavazos, Meagan Cavazos, Analisa Escalona, Desiree Flores, Sylvia Fuentes, Gracie Garcia, Ashley Gonzales, Miranda Harris, Johnathan Kepple, Jackie Lambert, Crystal Martinez, Magali Rodriguez, Ariella Sheffield, Crystal Vasquez and Amy Wenske. Instructors are Lisa Jackson, program coordinator, and Marilyn Powell, both registered nurses; and Mary Kitchens and Jamie Puentes, both licensed vocational nurses.
