Man earns doctorate, hired as director
Eric D. Grahmann received his doctorate in wildlife science from Texas A&M University-Kingsville on Aug 10.
He conducted his dissertation research on managing grasslands for quail through prescribed fire and grazing by cattle. Grahmann was recently hired by the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute as director of gamebird science, based out of San Antonio, assisting landowners with quail and land management.
He is the son of Johnny and Susan Grahmann Jr., of Victoria, and grandson of Johnny Grahmann Sr., of Hallettsville.
