Members of the Low Impression Car Club are revving up their engines again to show off what they consider the "baddest" rides in the Crossroads - but this time, they're doing it for the children.

The car club will host an all-category car show Sunday in which entrants will donate one unwrapped toy in lieu of admission. The toys will be donated to Toys For Tots, a U.S. Marine Corps program that provides Christmas presents to less fortunate children.

This will be the third year Low Impression Car Club has raised awareness for the cause, said member Eugene Hernandez.

The event is free and open to the public, but all are welcome to bring an unwrapped toy, Hernandez said.

"We usually fill up about two or three boxes," he said. "This year, I'd like to fill up four or five boxes."

Lowriders, trucks, street rods and hot rods will be featured at the event, and more than 35 awards will be given out to participants.

Food and drinks will be available, and there will be free games to keep children entertained, Hernandez said.

"This is a family club," he said. "We're always down to help the community."
