Thursday cold front will bring rapid temperature drop
A strong cold front will move through the Crossroads Thursday, possibly as early as mid-morning, dropping temperatures rapidly, according to the National Weather Service.
Afternoon temperatures will plummet into the 40s.
There is also a 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after noon.
Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 47 by 5 p.m. Southeast wind 10 to 15 mph becoming north 16 to 21 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 26 mph.
There is a 60 percent chance of rain Thursday night.
Cloudy, with a low around 37. North northeast wind 14 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.
