Trains are not as noisy in Grand Prairie
Editor, the Advocate:
I spent the Thanksgiving holiday in Grand Prairie. I noticed the city has rail traffic day and night without noise - nothing other than the rail cars rolling. The track is parallel to Main Street. The street crossings have warning lights and cross arms. I find this odd, for the so-called safety issue. I'm sure that Grand Prairie is comparable in size to Victoria. Thanks.
