Cold temperatures remain until Saturday

Victoria county residents won't get a break from the below-normal temperatures until Saturday, according to a meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Corpus Christi.

Another cold front is expected to come through Monday, which will keep temperatures in the 40s Tuesday and Wednesday. The next time the area will get into the 60s will be Saturday. There is 30 percent chance of rain Monday. It may dry out a little bit Tuesday with a small chance of rain returning Wednesday afternoon to evening. The best chance of rain will be Thursday night into Friday. Temperatures will stay in the 40s for the better part of the week. Normal high temperatures for this time of year are in the 60s, according to the National Weather Service.
