One person was injured in a wreck on U.S. Highway 77 near San Antonio River Road on Friday night.
A white Ford F-250 truck that was traveling north on U.S. Highway 77 moved over and came into contact with a silver Nissan passenger car, which was also traveling north, said Department of Public Safety Trooper Mike Perkins, who is investigating the crash.
The Ford F-250 rolled at least once, he said.
There were two people in the vehicles. Perkins declined to release their names, ages and cities of residence until his investigation is complete.
He did not know why the Ford F-250 moved.
Perkins also declined to say which driver was taken to the hospital and to which hospital.
One of the drivers was not hurt, he said.
The call came at 5:19 p.m.
Victoria County Sheriff's Office, Refugio County Sheriff's Office, Victoria Fire Department and troopers from Refugio and Victoria counties responded.
As of Friday night, no citations were issued.
Lanes of the roadway were blocked for at least an hour as wrecker drivers worked to remove the vehicles and debris, Perkins said.
