Had 134 cows and 18 bulls. The packer market was strong again for the second week in a row. Supplies are small, and the demand is good. Another $2 better market. Replacement cows are at a premium, but very few are coming to market.

The calf market last week ended up a little higher, and this week, it is even stronger as the momentum has carried over across the market. Most classes were $2 to $4 higher. A lot of activity at the end of the year with only one sale here to go.

Packer bulls: Heavyweights, $88-$104; lower grades, $70-$90.

Packer cows: breakers, $65-$78; boning cows, $65-$83; canners and cutters, $82-$92; one individual high yielder, $99; light and weak, $38-$53.
