Cutting military retirement benefits is wrong

Editor, the Advocate:

I have just learned that the military retirement will be cut.

So, the Washington leaders will remain with their retirement and fat pay. My grandson and many who served in the wars will be affected. He was a bomb hunter serving 26 months in Iraq. We prayed daily for his safe return; many did not come back. The politicians and the president will never know what it is like to have loved ones serve to keep our country safe and free. Please support those who served and gave their all.

Support the Wounded Warriors, and when you see a soldier who served, take the time to let him know we appreciate his service. They deserve a thank you, no matter what war or time they served. Let your Congress know that we do not agree with this cut back.
