6 people hurt in 2-vehicle wreck on Port Lavaca Highway (video)

Six people were transported to area hospitals after a two-vehicle wreck at Pleasant Green Drive and Port Lavaca Highway on Tuesday.

Of the six, one was transported to DeTar Hospital Navarro, and five others were transported to Citizens Medical Center.

One of the injured, a woman, was listed in critical condition, said Traffic Safety Officer David Brogger with the Victoria Police Department.

The six were in a Chevrolet TrailBlazer about 7:45 p.m. traveling north on U.S. Highway 87 when the vehicle attempted to turn left onto Pleasant Green Drive, turning in front of a Ford pickup traveling south on the highway, Brogger said.

The driver of the pickup was not transported, and the names of the injured were not available as of 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
